Diversity and Inclusion Presentation

Join us for a diversity and inclusion seminar presented by Fabu Carter, MA, outreach specialist for Geriatrics and Gerontology and the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC). Fabu works with and recruits African American elders for biomedical research through the ADRC. Fabu also recently became a Diversity and Inclusion Advocate (DIA) through the School of Medicine and Public Health. DIAs serve as valuable resources to departments across SMPH as a peer resource for faculty, staff, and students to appropriately address diversity and climate issues by listening to concerns and coordinating services.
