Dr. Makiko Iwafuchi is an Assistant Professor at the University of Cincinatti’s Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Iwafuchi’s research focuses on gene and chromatin regulatory principles underlying dramatic cell fate changing events that occur in embryonic development, tissue repair, and disease.
