Jooyong, a recent UW-Madison graduate with a BS in Biochemistry, joined the Liu lab as a Research Intern in May 2023. He focuses on investigating the sex differences and the regulation of macrophage differentiation within the context of cardiovascular diseases such as deep-vein thrombosis and abdominal aortic aneurysm. His work combines in vitro assays and mouse tissue analysis.
